Food for Health & Mind – Part 2
Continuing with Part 1 ….. I am bit confused these days, when I hear about food therapy types stuff like food for soul or mind. People eat to enjoy life or when they are in stress or depressed, etc. This might be true, we get hungrier when we are in pressure, stress or depress. But I feel, still we should eat consciously & not to forget in can affect our health. We need to maintain balance of food for our mind & health. We need to make conscious efforts to eat in portion. I am not giving any kind of nutritionist advice, but in efforts in make our mind relaxes if we keep on eating it, then we are harming our health. It’s like exchanging our health to get relaxed mind, which is dangerous. I feel this belief of relaxing our mind with food is like mirage or drug. You might feel relax for some time, as our stomach is full & get satisfaction. But again, after few hours or next day we back to square one. Everything in life is back, nothing changed.
