Food for Health & Mind – Part 1
I have always believed that food can be a booster for not just our
health, but also for our mind. Since childhood, I have always enjoyed passing
my time sitting in a kitchen while my grandma or mom cooking food or even
sometimes alone, just enjoying it.
It the place in our home while is most active, most happening,
attracting all of us. In-fact our primary objective for earning money is to
feed our family. Such is our kitchen so special. I feel it not just the place
where food is cooked, but also the love, affection, sentiments are poured in
our food to make a delicious meal for the whole family.
No food can taste good, if it not made with love & affection. That
might be the reason we can’t enjoy restaurant food for long time. If anyone
feels I am wrong, try eating from same restaurant for long time & day will
come when you won’t be able to eat the food or even get nauseated. Going deep
further, if you have a cook at home, if the person is making with love, you
will continue eating the food prepared by cook for long time & won’t get
bored or irritated. But the cook is just doing it for money, you won’t be able to
eat for longtime & will think of making the food yourself.
When thinking about food for our mind, I heart always go to homemade
food, which I have been eating at my home. Homemade food can completely satisfy
my heart, stomach & mind, making me refreshed & happy. Example, very
commonly we most of the people have tea at time & anywhere like chaiwala,
other’s home, etc., but after all these teas, we feel the best when we have the
tea made at our home or self-made. This tea gives us utmost satisfaction then anything
in the world. Sorry, I am tea person, so can think of this example at the top.
So, homemade food is the stuff which satisfy me the most… which food
satisfies you the most ??
